Mike was the life of the party. He loved going to the movies, playing bingo, going on cruises, and enjoying himself at the casino. He loved animals – especially his granddog, Shay. Mike was a true friend; a “give you the shirt off his back” friend. Mike loved the time he spent playing practical jokes and cutting up with his friends. He loved his job as a Parts Driver for Hubler Chevrolet.
He is preceded in death by his wife Nancy Patterson in 2002; his son Charles “Chuck” Montgomery in 1987; and his brothers Joe and Bob Patterson.
He is survived by his children Michelle (Aaron) Hines, Barbara (Cos) Consolini, Robert (Jamie) Patterson, Michael (Angie) Patterson, and Gary (Lesley) Montgomery; 3 grandchildren; sisters Nancie (Lloyd) Eaton and Marlene (Bill) Rickey; and his twin brother Patrick (Paula) Patterson.

Mike, you showed me true friends are not held by the boundaries of age. I loved getting to spend so much time together. Your laugh and smile were contagious. I was glad to get introduced to the wonderful world of Cruise’s by you, Michelle and Aaron. That was one of the best vacations I have had. We may have drifted apart after Power Sweeping went under but I could always count on you to cheer me up. What a honor to get to work with you again at Hubler, the guys there will be lost without you. Rest easy my friend, give Nancy a huge hug. You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten.
